We are a creative production company,

We offer everything necessary for sustainably minded organizations to execute online and in person branding campaigns; helping them both make a return on investment to keep operating while simultaneously fulfilling their mission statements as businesses, non profits, and NGO’s. We choose our partnerships like we choose our friends, it’s important to us that organizations are also prioritizing environmental sustainability, human rights, and innovative ideas. We aren’t aiming to reinvent the wheel, but we are aiming to help our partners change the world for the better, and our mission will always be creativity for a greater good.

Photography is a mainstay of Lighthearted Humans, Photography tells the visual story of a brand in a way that no other medium can. Commissioned works take our clients aesthetic and aspirations into account. Our Photographers including Brian Amdur, Jessica Smith, Tyler Young, & Stefano McCoy do everything from website and print images featuring landscapes & lifestyles to headshots, product shots, and documentary photography. Our photographers have different specialties and assignments are planned accordingly.

Film & Animation is beautiful when done right. Moving images that tell a story are only becoming more relevant in todays world & our team of videographers and animators including Tyler Young & Jack Shugrue, are able to understand their craft in a way that allows them to transcend the limitations that come with specialization. They see the bigger picture, and holistically contribute messages that have a larger reach. Specializing in brand stories & campaigns, events, and explainer videos, our team creates memorable ads and stories for web and social media.

Design is the backbone of any brand. Web design, graphic design, print design, logos and branding are all a necessary step in creating a cohesive image across platforms. Our designers including Helen Kim, Jakob Michon, Michaela Fishback, & Dmitriy Filonov, use tools like Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Canva, Pen & Ink, and others resulting in specializations different mediums being print, book design, graphics, logos & many more. Often, the only limits are the imagination.

Data Visualization is becoming more important than ever as increasingly complex ideas need to be communicated to the public and our partners audiences. Our data wrangler Emily Miley, use software like “R”, QGIS, and others, taking data from scientists, organizations, and nonprofits in order to turn it into visually appealing, simple to understand messages for the general public who might not be as familiar as we are with some climate or regional science.

Music is meant to be heard! Our musicians Miles Inserra, Tristan Fong, and Anton Reifsteck, score all of our films and provide sounds for sound design. We are able to create original music, produce & remaster podcasts, and much more. Many of their tracks are also available for download and use under creative commons, while others can be readily licensed for any project.

Print Our writers Michaela Fishback, Tyler Young, & Ethan Wyman offer editorial work, research analysis, and guest blog posts in addition to flyer, book, and pamphlet design done by Joe Mascheroni & Helen Kim for organizations who need sustainably printed materials. Our print designers including Joe Mascheroni, and can streamline the whole process form design to delivery, or help in any aspect of greening a companies tangible materials.

Our Team is made up of diverse people in diverse places. We do projects for organizations all across the world which is possible due to our awesome creatives listed above in addition to awesome people like Steph Gracie, Luke Inserra, & Tyler Young working behind the scenes to allow us to continue providing value to our partners.
